100 years of education

Founded in 1923, The Study School began as a small preparatory school nestled in the heart of New Malden, Surrey. For generations, it welcomed children from Nursery through Year 6, becoming a cherished part of the local community. Set in a quiet residential area, our school was known not just for academic rigour, but for its warm, family-oriented ethos and commitment to holistic development.

Over the decades, The Study School evolved with the times—adapting to new educational philosophies, embracing diversity, and always placing the child at the centre of everything we do. Our leafy surroundings and close-knit atmosphere made it a haven for learning, laughter, and lifelong friendships.

A New Chapter: Focused on Early Years

In 2024, responding to growing demand and the strength of our partnership with a nearby school, we made a bold and exciting decision: to focus exclusively on the Early Years. This transition allowed us to channel our expertise, passion, and resources into creating a dedicated Nursery and Pre-school environment tailored to the unique needs of children from 3 months to age 5.

Though our structure has changed, our heart remains the same. We continue to inspire children to achieve their personal best, nurturing confidence, creativity, and resilience from the very beginning of their educational journey.

Our Location: New Malden, Surrey

We are proud to be located in New Malden, a vibrant and family-friendly suburb in southwest London. Our nursery is tucked away in a peaceful residential street, offering a safe and welcoming space where children can explore, play, and grow.

With excellent transport links and close proximity to our partner school, we remain deeply connected to the wider educational community—while offering a uniquely intimate and nurturing setting for our youngest learners.
